The glass balustrade system is a contemporary and increasingly popular application. The modular system allows complete freedom of design on almost any construction project, whilst still achieving a high quality, contemporary appearance. The brackets will hold glass from 6 -12mm thick and have been impact load tested to BSi standards. The system is "non climbable" and therefore deemed a safe application by the building regulations office. Top Handrails are an option.

 

The flexibility of the system allows it to incorporate various infills such as toughened glass, horizontal and vertical wire or horizontal and vertical 12mm solid stainless steel bar. We also supply bespoke infills as required.

 

 

 

Channel System

The seamless design of the glass channel system is supported by a solid aluminium channel which can be floor fixed or side fixed. The system can secure 15mm, 19mm or 25mm thick glass which is held in place with a wedge system.

Stainless steel handrail can be fitted to the top of the glass and complete the stylish look and also improve the structural stability of the system.

 

 

We can supply all components needed for the system and a cutting service for the channel, cladding and handrail, we can even cut mitred joints for 90° corners.
