Another Successful Commercial Project Completes !!

YES Window Company Ltd is pleased to announce the completion of one of our recent projects. Three blocks of flats in London SE1 consisting of 20 apartments (1, 2 & 3 bedrooms). This project has been very challenging and fulfilling at the same time.

The client  contacted us with a problem.  Their existing windows were crittall frames, single glazed, sitting onto an existing concrete cill. The wooden and crittall frames were very old and badly damaged, the single glazing was completely inadequate and the concrete cills were deteriorated causing a serious health and safety issue.
 YES needed to find a solution to replace the windows with something durable and aesthetically pleasing without breaking the bank for the main contractor. PVCu was suggested as a material and the product was to be the REHAU-Tritec (60mm) Window System. This was specified from our wide range of products and materials to replace all the windows matching the existing layout as much as possible. The Rehau Tritec (60mm) system uses the latest technologically in advanced window and door systems, combining form and functionality to bring a vast array of features and direct user benefits. At every stage of the specification, fabrication and installation process, the superior engineering and design of the system sets the product firmly at the forefront of the window market. Great appearance and advanced performance means inevitable demand for a versatile window and door system full of benefits.

The Rehau Tritec (60mm) system can incorporate a 24mm or 28mm sealed units, therefore giving great flexibility when specifying thermal efficiency, solar control and acoustic performance requirements, especially when a project so centrally located in town demands the best r results possible.
 In order for the job to be the success that it was, strict Health and Safety guidelines had to be followed by all working parties. This meant the organization and planning of the job had to be meticulous. Praise must go to both Yes Window Company Ltd and 2020 Building Services Ltd for this aspect in particular, for without the necessary and exemplary team work both companies displayed regarding key elements, such as time sensitivity to other contractors as well as tenants, this project would not have been completed as comfortably as it was.
The end result was incredible, transforming a once old and tired looking group of buildings into a completely new and more modern look as you can see on the pictures as well as quieter homes and cheaper heating bills for the people living in the blocks.
